Amanda is the owner of Balanced Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. Amanda was born and raised in Lancaster, PA. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences in 2008 from The Ohio State University. While at OSU, she competed on the Varsity Women's Gymnastics team. She then attended Temple University and graduated in 2011 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy with experience treating a wide variety of spine, TMJ, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle injuries. She has taken multiple continuing education courses and has over 11 years of experience treating both simple and complex vestibular disorders. She has completed Herman & Wallace Level 1 for the evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction. She is certified in FMS (Functional Movement Screen) Level 1 and 2 as well as Integrative Dry Needling. Most recently, she became certified as a The Ready State Mobility Coach.
Amanda's interest in physical therapy began as an athlete where she received care for different injuries she sustained during her 10 years as a gymnast. Her passion has been to give back to the sport that has given her so much. She has developed strength and conditioning programs for gymnastics teams and has been providing physical therapy services on site to the USAG team at Sonshine Gymnastics since 2017.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, children, Mason and Samantha and dogs, Olivia & Griff. She loves a good book, running in Spartan races, yoga and most anything outdoors.
Erin is a native of Cary, NC. In 2016, she graduated from UNC Wilmington with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise science, and a minor in Psychology. In 2019, she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. Erin is certified in Functional Dry Needling and especially enjoys working with athletes of all ages and abilities.
Erin grew up playing competitive travel soccer, and became interested in physical therapy after rehabbing multiple concussions and hip injuries. She experienced firsthand the healing power of PT, and is committed to sharing this with her patients.
In her free time, Erin enjoys traveling, gardening, snowboarding, and hiking with her husband and 2 dogs.
Nicole is the administrative assistant for Balanced Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. She helps us keep things running smoothly and efficiently!
Nicole was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education. She has taught elementary school, been the Director of the Children's Ministry in her church and has a general love for helping others. She loves to learn about all things health, wellness and movement and strives to be the best version of herself.
Outside of work, Nicole loves spending time with her husband and their 3 beautiful children. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, and spending time outside!
